First, second, third and Readers' Choice winners will be selected for each category - eight winners total.
Winners will be announced on the Alexandra Farms social media accounts
and in the October 2023 issue of Florists’ Review magazine.
FIRST PLACE
All-expense paid trip for two to Alexandra Farms in Bogotá, Colombia*
SECOND PLACE
500 stems of garden roses + $500*
THIRD PLACE
250 stems of garden roses + $250*
READERS' CHOICE AWARD
250 stems of garden roses + $250*
Judging Process
The finalists in each category are selected by the team at Alexandra Farms.
These finalists are sent to our panel of judges for scoring. Judges include Alexandra Farms partners and leaders in the floral industry. The first, second and third-place winners are chosen by this panel.
These same finalists also move on to the Readers' Choice Award vote. The Readers' Choice winners will be chosen through a public online vote.
All stages of the judging process are done anonymously.
JUDGING CRITERIA
Designs will be evaluated on the following criteria:
How garden roses are used in the design
Overall design aesthetic and composition
Photo quality is also important.
Instructions for Submitting Your Entries

The link to submit entries will be sent to you via email when you register for the contest. We are unable to accept entries through email. You must register and submit your entries through the online entry forms. If you do not receive the email after registering, send us a note at info@alexandrafarms.com.

You may submit entries in both categories if desired. You may submit up to two (2) designs per category.

You may submit one (1) image of each design. For best results, follow these guidelines.

Photos must be high-resolution (at least 300 dpi). Low-resolution images will be disqualified.

Make sure your photo is well-lit with the design and garden roses prominently featured.

Because we use an anonymous judging method, photos with watermarks or identifying information in the photo or filename will be disqualified.

Garden roses should be "the star" of the design; you may add greens, fillers, and other flowers.

You must provide the names of each garden rose variety used in your designs. You may use any variety of fresh-cut garden roses grown by Alexandra Farms.

You may publish photos of your entries on your own social media accounts or website at any time before or after the contest closes.
The Fine Print
By submitting your entries, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
You also warrant that the designs submitted are your own creations.
You confirm that you have secured permission from the photographer to use the images.
Permission from the photographer is required prior to submission and is the responsibility of the entrant.
You further authorize Alexandra Farms and their partners to publish pictures of the designs
(including but not limited to in print and digital publications, in advertisements and/or on websites/apps).

*Airline tickets are non-transferable and will be booked as round-trip economy class tickets. Cash prize is paid in $USD.
**Garden roses must be claimed within one calendar year. An alternate prize will be offered to winners who reside in a country where delivery is not possible through our established wholesale supply chain. Some restrictions may apply.
